Job description
At New Horizons – Go Retractable, we love the Florida lifestyle. Since we opened our doors in 2003, we structured our business to provide premium products that enhance the lifestyle of our customers. We are the premier provider of retractable screens and retractable awnings in Central Florida.
New Horizons is seeking a lanai screen installer with a minimum of 1 year experience with screen frame-ins and repair. Experience with pool enclosures is a plus but not necessary.
Our projects include fixed screen frame ins, retractable screens, roll-up privacy shades, motorized awnings and motorized hurricane shutters. Most projects are installed in the Central Florida area, and company trucks are provided.
Applicants must have experience working with aluminum, good knowledge of hand and power tools, and measurement accuracy.
We are looking for someone who will bring their established skills to the position and is excited to learn ones. Candidates must also possess solid customer service skills as this position will have contact with our valued customers while their project is in the process of installation or when service or repairs are needed.

EXPERIENCE
Previous screen installation experience is required
Comfortable with hand tools, power tools and other installation equipment as needed
JOB DUTIES & EXPERIENCE
Assists in loading and unloading of all materials on vehicles.
Drives company vehicle to scheduled job sites; meets with customers; accurately performs required measurements and installation based on scope of each individual project. Takes photos of pertinent areas relating to the job and notes any issues, problems or defects found that would impact the progress of the job.
Cuts and organizes all materials necessary to properly install each job.
Installs all products with accuracy and quality workmanship.
Performs service work on our products as needed.
Must work well as part of a team.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $18.00 – $30.00 per hour
